Paver pool deck cost in Daytona Beach (2026 ranges)

Quick answer

Paver pool decks in national published guides often plan around $12 to $25 per sq ft for work around a pool and $15 to $27 per sq ft for travertine, installed. HomeAdvisor's 600 square foot travertine table is $9,000 to $16,200. Removal is extra and is not folded into that table.

Cost by material

MaterialPer sq ftAbout 600 sq ftWhy people pick it
Concrete pavers$12 to $25 per sq ft$7,200 to $15,000Widest color range, usually the lower cost
Travertine$15 to $27 per sq ft$9,000 to $16,200Tends to stay cooler underfoot
Porcelain$12 to $20 per sq ft$7,200 to $12,000HomeGuide installed porcelain, straight math on 600 sq ft
Clay brick$12 to $22 per sq ft$7,200 to $13,200Angi brick driveway band times 600, straight math

Porcelain at HomeGuide's installed band of $12 to $20 per sq ft is about $7,200 to $12,000 for 600 square feet, as straight math. Brick at Angi's $12 to $22 per sq ft is about $7,200 to $13,200 for the same area. Removal is not inside those products. HomeAdvisor says an existing patio removal can reach $3,700. Coping, drains, and cage repairs are still extra.

What moves a pool deck quote

  • Screen cage access. A narrow gate means the material is carried.
  • Freeform pools, which add cuts.
  • Coping at the waterline, often priced per linear foot.
  • Deck drains and the slope away from both the pool and the house.
  • A finish that stays grippy when wet. Polished stone can be the wrong savings.
  • Color. Dark charcoal gets hot. Light colors stain more easily and show rust from sprinklers.

Heat versus budget

Travertine costs more and usually feels better at 2 p.m. Concrete pavers in a light color are the middle path. No material fixes a deck in full western sun in August. If the quote is far below these bands, ask what was left out: base, coping, or haul-away. The build details are on the pool deck page.

Travertine, concrete, and the removal line

HomeAdvisor's travertine page, updated June 19, 2026, says installed travertine runs $15 to $27 per square foot. The size table lists 600 square feet at $9,000 to $16,200, which is that rate times the area. The same page says you can often lay travertine over sound concrete, and that removing an existing patio can reach $3,700. HomeGuide's around-a-pool installed band is $12 to $25 and is not limited to travertine. Porcelain on HomeGuide's installed table is $12 to $20. Last checked November 1, 2026.

Heat is why people pay the travertine number. It is a dense limestone that the HomeAdvisor page describes as staying cool underfoot. Dark concrete pavers do not. A cage, coping, and deck drains are still outside both bands. If the concrete underneath is hollow, cracked through, or pitched at the house, overlay is the wrong savings. Read the overlay guide before you skip demolition.

Cage gates and coping on the Halifax coast

Most pool-deck quotes around Port Orange, Ormond Beach, and New Smyrna Beach are really three prices: the field, the coping at the water, and the labor of moving stone through a screen-cage gate. HomeAdvisor's $9,000 to $16,200 for 600 square feet of travertine is the field band before removal. It does not include a new coping ring or a drain that was never there. If the gate is under 36 inches, say so. Carrying every piece changes the day, and a quote that assumes a driveway drop-off will be wrong on a caged lot.

Salt on the barrier island is a second line item in time, not in the per-foot band. A deck in Ponce Inlet or Daytona Beach Shores will want a sealer conversation sooner than a deck west of I-95, and the sealer has to stay walkable when wet. HomeGuide's caution that solvent films can be slippery belongs in the pool-deck bid even though the dollar band for sealing lives on another page. Do not let a deck quote go silent on the wet test. Chlorine and sunscreen are hard on some films. Ask what product they will use, and whether they will wait if the concrete pavers are still showing a pale mineral haze.

Questions homeowners ask

How much does a travertine pool deck cost in Volusia County?

HomeAdvisor's installed travertine band is $15 to $27 per square foot. Its 600 square foot table is $9,000 to $16,200 before removal. Removal can reach $3,700 on that page. Coping can be extra. Last checked November 1, 2026. This is not a quote.

Are concrete pavers cheaper around a pool?

Usually yes. HomeGuide's around-a-pool band is $12 to $25 per square foot, about $7,200 to $15,000 for 600 square feet before removal. Choose a light color if bare feet matter. Last checked November 1, 2026.

Does the cage change the price?

Yes. Labor goes up when everything passes through a gate and around cage poles. Ask for that to be visible in the quote.

Should I seal a new pool deck immediately?

Not always. Concrete pavers may show a white haze first. A thick wet-look sealer can also be slippery. Read the sealing cost guide before you add it to day one.

Where does the $15 to $27 travertine figure come from?

HomeAdvisor's travertine installation page, updated June 19, 2026. It is a national typical band, not a Volusia quote. Last checked November 1, 2026.
