Cost by driveway size
The middle column uses $10 to $18 per sq ft, which is where many ordinary residential jobs land once a real base is included. The wider column uses $10 to $30 per sq ft. Tear-out is not in either column.
| Example | About this size | At $10 to $18 per sq ft | Wider band $10 to $30 per sq ft |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single car, about 12 by 30 ft | 360 sq ft | $3,600 to $6,480 | $3,600 to $10,800 |
| Two car, about 20 by 30 ft | 600 sq ft | $6,000 to $10,800 | $6,000 to $18,000 |
| Long or wide drive | 1,000 sq ft | $10,000 to $18,000 | $10,000 to $30,000 |
Small drives sometimes price above the low end because the crew, the saw, and the dumpster do not shrink with the square footage. That shows up in Holly Hill, Daytona Beach Shores, and beach cottages.
Cost by material
| Material | Planning range | Where it usually fits |
|---|---|---|
| Concrete pavers | $10 to $30 per sq ft | Most local driveways |
| Common residential concrete paver jobs | $10 to $18 per sq ft | Open access, standard pattern, proper base |
| Clay brick pavers | $12 to $22 per sq ft | Older streets that want a traditional look |
| Travertine | $15 to $27 per sq ft | Possible, less common under tires because of cost and softness |
| Poured broom-finish concrete, for comparison | $8 to $12 per sq ft | Angi 2026 broom finish. See the comparison guide |
What those ranges try to include
- Excavation to the depth the installer specifies.
- A compacted base, often discussed as about 6 to 8 inches for a driveway, over fabric when the sand is loose.
- Bedding sand, pavers, edge restraint, joint sand, and the labor to set them.
- Basic cleanup.
What is often extra
- Removing and hauling an old slab. Angi says to budget demolition and does not publish a single per-square-foot rate we will cite. HomeAdvisor says removing an existing patio can reach $3,700 depending on size and material.
- The apron in the public right of way, and any permit fee.
- Decorative borders, circles, and heavy cutting.
- Drains, root barriers, and moving irrigation.
- Sealing. Many installers leave that for later on purpose.
- Difficult access, including a pool cage or a gate the pallet cannot fit through.
How to read a quote
Ask for square footage, base thickness, fabric, edge type, who pulls a permit, and whether tear-out is included. A price far under the ranges above sometimes means the base is thin. A price far over them can be honest when access is awful or the shape is complicated. The paver driveway page lists questions worth asking on the visit. If you are choosing between pavers and a new slab, use pavers vs concrete.
Which published band to use
Angi's 2026 paver driveway page, updated October 15, 2026, puts a national size table at $10 to $30 per square foot. The same page lists standard driveways at $10 to $18, permeable at $15 to $25, decorative at $18 to $30, and brick at $12 to $22. Labor is $5 to $15 per square foot or $50 to $80 per hour. A 600 square foot driveway on that size table is $6,000 to $18,000. HomeGuide's installed driveway band is also $10 to $30, and it separately says concrete pavers often install at $8 to $15. Use the Angi standard band when you mean an ordinary concrete paver drive, and say so. Do not blend it into a pretend Volusia average.
The old habit of quoting a single $14 to $20 local band is retired on this site. That band was inside the national ranges, but it was not itself a published figure. Last checked November 1, 2026. Demolition stays a separate line. HomeAdvisor says removing an existing patio can reach $3,700 depending on size and material. That ceiling is not a per-square-foot tear-out rate.
- Write the square footage both bidders used. A 20 by 30 foot two-car drive is about 600 square feet before the flare.
- Ask whether the apron, the permit fee, and haul-away are inside the per-foot number.
- Match the material to a published band: standard, permeable, decorative, or brick.
- Open the calculator and keep the printout with the quotes.
- If the drive touches a city street, open the permit guide for that city before you accept a price that ignores it.

Questions homeowners ask
How much does a 600 square foot paver driveway cost near Daytona?
About $6,000 to $10,800 at Angi's standard $10 to $18 per square foot, or $6,000 to $18,000 on the $10 to $30 size table. Haul-away is extra and is not given as one per-square-foot rate on that page. Last checked November 1, 2026. These are national ranges, not quotes.
Why do driveway prices vary so much?
Base depth, tear-out, access, pattern, and drainage move the number more than the color of the paver. Sandy soil punishes a thin base, so the cheap quote is not automatically the better one.
Does the price include sealing?
Usually no. Many concrete pavers should not be sealed on day one because of efflorescence. Sealing is its own cost guide.
Are these Daytona Pavers prices?
No. Daytona Pavers does not install driveways and does not publish a rate card. The figures are planning ranges from published Florida pricing. The installer you hire sets the real price after a visit.
Is $10 to $30 a Volusia price?
No. It is Angi's 2026 national size table, also echoed by HomeGuide's installed range. No public Volusia average was found. Last checked November 1, 2026.
