Paver patio cost in Daytona Beach (2026 ranges)

Quick answer

A concrete paver patio around Daytona Beach often plans at $10 to $17 per sq ft installed. A 400 square foot patio is about $3,800 to $6,800. A 200 square foot patio is about $2,000 to $3,400 on the pure math, and small visits often bid higher because the crew still has to mobilize.

Travertine moves the same areas toward $15 to $27 per sq ft. A seat wall or fire pit is not inside the square-foot price. We are not publishing a wall or pit dollar range, because we did not find a public source we will cite as of November 1, 2026. Ask for those as separate lines. The build notes are on the walls and fire pits page.

Included, if the quote is honest

  • Excavation and a compacted base, often thinner than a driveway, commonly discussed as about 4 to 6 inches.
  • Fabric if the sand is loose.
  • Pavers, edges, joint sand, and labor.
  • A slope that sends water away from the house.

Easy to forget

  • Steps when the door is higher or lower than the yard.
  • A grill pad or a thicker spot for a heavy kitchen.
  • Root conflicts under oaks, common in DeLand and older Port Orange yards.
  • HOA color review on a front-facing patio.
  • Sealing, which can wait.

The construction side, including door thresholds, is on the patio page. If the choice is really pavers versus a slab, the comparison guide is the fairer read than a single number.

The 20 by 20 published total

HomeGuide publishes $3,800 to $6,800 to install a 20 by 20 foot paver patio, which is 400 square feet. Its per-foot patio band is $10 to $17, and straight math at that band is $4,000 to $6,800. The published total and the multiplication are close, not identical. Quote the published total when you mean that size, and say it is HomeGuide's number. A 200 square foot patio is $2,000 to $3,400 on the straight math. Small jobs can land above it because the crew still mobilizes. We will not invent the minimum.

Seat walls and fire pits stay off this page as dollar figures. Ask for them as lines. Shade in DeLand and older Port Orange yards adds mildew, which is a cleaning plan, not a reason the patio was built wrong. If the patio crosses 1,000 square feet of new impervious area in Ormond Beach, that city's driveway checklist also wants a drainage plan when the impervious addition is that large. A patio is not automatically exempt from that idea. Confirm with the city.

  1. Measure to the door threshold. A patio that is proud of the slider will leak.
  2. Separate steps, a grill pad, and a seat wall from the square-foot price.
  3. Use $3,800 to $6,800 for a 20 by 20 when you are citing HomeGuide's published total.
  4. If oak roots cross the pad, ask the installer to say what they will do before they pave over a root they cannot beat.

A DeLand oak patio is not a Deltona driveway patio

Price the patio for the yard you have. A DeLand pad under live oaks stays damp, picks up tannin stains, and may have a root that will lift one corner within a few seasons. Tell the installer about that root before they pave over it. A Deltona backyard on the sand ridge is usually sunnier and drier, so the same square footage is a different maintenance plan even when HomeGuide's $10 to $17 band is the planning number for both. Port Orange patios often share a yard with a screen cage. The cage footer and the side gate decide whether the pallet can be rolled or has to be carried. That labor is not inside the 20 by 20 published total of $3,800 to $6,800. Ask for it as a line.

Door thresholds are the other local constraint. Beach houses in Daytona Beach Shores and Ponce Inlet cannot afford a patio that sits proud of the slider, because wind-driven rain finds the gap. Inland sliders have more forgiveness and still should not become a dam. If the patio is also the path the trash can takes, make it wide enough for the can and the person beside it. A 3-foot leftover strip beside the house is a trip, not a design. Measure that strip and put the number in the quote request so the installer does not assume a wide open yard.

Questions homeowners ask

How much does a 400 square foot paver patio cost?

HomeGuide publishes $3,800 to $6,800 for a 20 by 20 foot patio. Straight math at $10 to $17 per square foot is $4,000 to $6,800. Travertine costs more. Last checked November 1, 2026. This is not a quote.

Why is a tiny patio not cheap?

The crew, the saw, and the trip do not scale down as fast as the area. A 200 square foot patio can price above the straight per-foot math.

Are seat walls included?

Not in the square-foot bands above. Ask for the wall as its own line. We are not publishing a per-foot wall price without a source we will cite.

Do these prices include Daytona Pavers as the builder?

No. We match you with an independent installer. They price the patio after they see the yard.

Why are there two 400 square foot numbers?

HomeGuide publishes $3,800 to $6,800 for a 20 by 20 patio. Multiplying its $10 to $17 band by 400 gives $4,000 to $6,800. Both are on the same publisher's page. Neither is a quote.

Request a quote after you have a range in mind

Daytona Pavers is a free service that connects homeowners with local, independent paver installers. It is not itself the contractor. Your request is shared with a local installer so they can contact you with a quote.

Tell us about the project. We pass the request to a local, independent installer. You do not pay Daytona Pavers for the introduction, and you decide whether to hire anyone.

A budget range is optional. It is a planning hint, not a promise. Read how we handle this information on the privacy page.
