Frequently asked questions

What is Daytona Pavers?

Daytona Pavers is a free referral service for paver projects in Daytona Beach and nearby cities. We connect you with a local, independent installer. We do not install pavers, we do not take a deposit, and we do not publish a phone number.

Are you the paver contractor?

No. The installer who contacts you is an independent business. If you hire them, the contract is between you and that company. Daytona Pavers is not on the hook for their workmanship, and we do not claim their license as our own.

Which areas do you serve?

City pages cover Deltona, Daytona Beach, Port Orange, Ormond Beach, DeLand, New Smyrna Beach, Edgewater, DeBary, Holly Hill, South Daytona, Orange City, Daytona Beach Shores, Ponce Inlet, and unincorporated Ormond-by-the-Sea. Palm Coast, in Flagler County, is included too. Lake Helen, Oak Hill, and Pierson do not have their own pages yet.

How much does a paver driveway cost in Daytona Beach?

Angi's 2026 size table is $10 to $30 per square foot, and its standard driveway band is $10 to $18. About 600 square feet is $6,000 to $18,000 on the wide table, or $6,000 to $10,800 on the standard band, before haul-away. See the driveway cost guide. Last checked November 1, 2026.

How much does a paver pool deck cost?

HomeGuide's around-a-pool band is $12 to $25 per square foot. HomeAdvisor's travertine band is $15 to $27, and 600 square feet is $9,000 to $16,200 before removal. Screen-cage access can add labor. Last checked November 1, 2026.

How much does a paver patio cost?

HomeGuide's installed patio band is $10 to $17 per square foot, and it publishes $3,800 to $6,800 for a 20 by 20 foot patio. Very small patios can cost more per foot because the crew still has to show up. Last checked November 1, 2026.

How much does paver sealing cost?

HomeGuide's clean, sand, and seal band is $1.50 to $3.25 per square foot, about $900 to $1,950 for 600 square feet. Pressure washing alone is $0.35 to $0.80 per square foot on that page. New pavers are often better left unsealed until the white mineral haze fades. Last checked November 1, 2026.

Are pavers better than concrete here?

Pavers usually cost more at the start and are easier to repair in a patch when sand shifts. A plain poured driveway is often cheaper up front and cracks as one sheet if it fails. Neither system is fine on a thin base. The comparison guide walks through both.

What stays coolest by the pool?

Light travertine and light concrete pavers are the usual picks for bare feet. Dark charcoal colors absorb more sun. No surface stays comfortable in full sun at midafternoon in August.

Will sandy soil make pavers sink?

It can, if the base is thin or the edges are not held. Installers in this area usually compact a crushed-concrete or limerock base and restrain the border. Those steps matter more than the paver brand.

How do summer storms affect the joints?

Polymeric sand, the joint sand that sets after it is watered, needs a dry spell. Afternoon storms from June through October are why good installers watch the forecast instead of washing in sand under a dark sky.

Does salt air change the materials?

On beachside Daytona, the Shores, Ormond-by-the-Sea, and beachside New Smyrna, salt spray is hard on metal edges and on some glossy sealers. Ask for restraint that will not rust, and rinse the surface after windy salt days when you can.

Do I need a permit?

Sometimes. An apron that meets the public street is the piece people miss. Inside a city, ask that city. Ormond-by-the-Sea is unincorporated Volusia County. Some Palm Coast Hammock lots are Flagler County, not the city. Confirm before work starts. This is not legal advice.

How much does it cost to relevel pavers?

Angi lists minor paver repairs around $200 to $500 and more extensive resetting around $1,000 to $2,500. If the whole base has failed, replacement pricing is the honest comparison. Last checked November 1, 2026. These are national figures, not quotes.

Do I pay Daytona Pavers?

Homeowners do not pay Daytona Pavers for the introduction. You pay the installer only if you accept their quote and hire them.

Do you publish a phone number?

No. The quote form is the only contact method on this site. The installer will use the phone number or email you submit.

What happens to my information?

We share it with a local, independent installer so they can quote the work, and we email a copy to the operator of Daytona Pavers. We store the lead, including the country associated with the request, not a street address for our own business. The privacy page has the detail.

Can you help if I only need cleaning?

Yes. Choose paver sealing and cleaning on the form. If the pavers have sunk, say that too, because sealer will not lift them.

Request a free quote

Daytona Pavers is a free service that connects homeowners with local, independent paver installers. It is not itself the contractor. Your request is shared with a local installer so they can contact you with a quote.

Tell us about the project. We pass the request to a local, independent installer. You do not pay Daytona Pavers for the introduction, and you decide whether to hire anyone.
